William Bennett, a fourth generation Florida native, grew up his family’s farm in DeSoto County. He attended Florida State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate. William has a diverse background including crop production and citrus production, as well as agricultural real estate sales and appraisal. William’s real estate career began in college training under an MAI in Tallahassee. After graduating he remained in Tallahassee and specialized in the appraisal of agricultural properties. This included farms, ranches and commercial timberland, as well as environmentally sensitive properties. After receiving the MAI designation in 1996, William relocated to DeSoto County and has continued to specialize in the appraisal of agricultural properties throughout south and central Florida.
In addition to his appraisal and agricultural activities, William has actively been involved in sales and marketing agricultural real estate throughout his professional career. William has been married to Annette for 22 years and has three children.
